Ah time to take a breather this week. The past week was go go go. I worked tons, had to go in on Saturday for training as well, babysat for a pal twice, I had about 100 phone calls to make for YESS, and then of course cramming in the usual playdates. I think I was home only one night last week. One night was self inflicted, I saw the movie The Good Shepherd with Beckie. Not so good a movie. I didn't realize it was 3 hours long. And when the movie starts at 9....yikes. It was an ok movie but boy, it has to be Lord of the Rings good to sit for 3 hours, and it sure wasn't that good. But the popcorn was awesome!

I have sorely neglected a) watching Buffy and b) my reading and c) my husband (not listed in order of importance! LOL) . I still haven't finished the book I am reading which is incredibly odd for me, I usually take a week at the most. Then I stopped by the Goodwill after a playdate at the ACT and found a ton of books there. A copy of Vinegar Hill that was brand spanking new (its Oprahs bookclub, so you can just picture that someone bought it for bookclub then never read it LOL!) two Margaret Atwood novels, Alias Grace and The Blind Assassin, a copy of Shopaholic and then two other trade paperbacks in new condition that I can't remember at the moment. Grand total? 18 bucks. I am SO going to be stopping in more often.

Went over to Melissa's and played Scattergories with her and Brandy, I really enjoyed the game, I should pick it up sometime.

I do believe my parents are coming up this weekend which will be great, Mr K will be so excited. I have the weekend off, that's exciting for me!

Alrighty, time to go parent...

Scatorgories is a fun game! I really enjoye Alias Grace. I'd like to reread it actually, and I should as it's sitting on my book shelf. Have you read Handmaid's Tale?
